After installing RC2 over my RC1 installation I get a white screen
my error_log shows me following error:
[client xx.xx.xx.xx] PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function on a
non-object in /home/.sites/143/site2/web/wp-includes/taxonomy.php on
line 165
Replacing the taxonomy.php with the rc1 version solved the issue. I was
able to upgrade the site and access the admin pages, and work as normal.
