You do not need to upload multiple files at once to create a gallery,
simply upload the photos you want to that post, then they'll all be added
to the gallery.
However, IE not being able to select multiple files is a bit of a bug, Not
sure why tho.

Under Firefox no problem .. simple to create a simple gallery
