Confirmed. Editing minutes only then clicking Save has no effect on
saved timestamp.

Just tested, and it worked for me - I set a post's date and time to
the previous day, saved it, and the change worked as expected.

In 2.5 I can't get the published date to change at all. Once the

been published clicking edit on the date, changing it and then
hitting
save keeps the old publish date/time. This feature does not work for
