StatPress will have issues with both the installer, and the automatic upgrader.
Its due to the way they've setup the SVN repo. for the plugin.

Put simply: Its not "standard" use of a SVN repo, However, I'm planning on adding a workaround into the installer/upgrader to work around these issues.

"standard use": Putting the plugin files in /trunk/ and tagging releases instead of putting plugins in a subdir of /trunk/ (/trunk/wp-statpress/ in this case)

Theres a ticket on this issue here:
http://trac.wordpress.org/ticket/7395

(It'll be a lot easier to write a patch for it now that i know a plugin which is affected..)

I just used the "Install Plugins" feature to install Statpress. I activated it as well. Upon 'successful' completion, at the Plugins page Statpress is
not listed anywhere. However, it is installed as it's listed in the main
admin navbar.

I haven't noticed this with other plugins I've installed, perhaps it's just an issue with this particular plugin? Either way I wanted to note it here.
Thx guys.
