Strange that you're getting that. I loaded up 2.7 r8780 into my local
sandbox (XAMPP for Windows, PHP 5.2.6) this morning with no problems
although I have no plugins installed or activated. I have tried several
different themes with it though with no problems. Haven't done any
online testing yet.
