I've actually disabled Gears on both my sites once I went to
"2.7-whatever" simply for that reason. Easier testing that way. With
only a couple of exceptions the 2.7 Admin appears to be noticeably
faster than the 2.6 series (without Gears enabled).

Hi all,
First off, 2.7 seems to look great.
However, I believe that when upgrading the nightly builds, some of the
cached files in Gears prevent the redesigns from appearing until the Turbo
page is visited again and the Gears files are updated? Should the Upgrade
Automatically button do this for us by default, perhaps?
We just need to make sure the Gears manifest is updated properly. It
sometimes slips behind the times because there are some many changes
going in each day.
