This morning I tried doing an upgrade from 2.6.3 directly to 2.7
beta 3, and found the beta 3 zip file seems to be incomplete.
It only had the wp-includes directory, and 6 files for the root
directory of the install. I am supposing this is an install that
requires beta 1 and 2 already installed? Will be trying that now, but
for people who do want to jump in and try, it would be nice if this
somewhere.
The zip file should be complete. The one I downloaded contains all
the necessary files. Though perhaps it would be best to hold off
until one is released with a fix for the pages bug.
Thats interesting, because I also downloaded beta 1, and found it had
the exact same files as beta 3.
Something is going wrong with your download or export. The beta3 zip
should be 1801373 bytes and contains 692 files.

The beta1 zip was 1810484 with 716 files.
