Adobe Flash Player 10.0.12.36 is the version that works for me. Version
10.0.22.87 is the one that currently does not work for me.
I remember all the chaos on wordpress.org the last time a Flash Player did
not work in a version of WP. Lots of "images won't upload threads" ;)
Might be worth doing some invertigation to fix this before the WP 2.8
release....

Yeah I only have had crashing problems since using the latest version of
Flash Player 10. Just reinstalled the previous version before the latest
version and it worked fine again, so it must be the latest verion of
Flash
Player which is causing problems.
The latest version of Flash Player was released to fix a couple security
problems.

I've been having problems with FF & IE8 crashing when opening the
uploader.
I never though about it being Flash Player 10 though. So yes I have had

Hi all, just wondering if anyone else is having trouble with the latest
version of Flash Player (10) with WP?
It crashes FireFox and IE7 when trying to upload media using the
WordPress
media uploader in WP 2.7.1 and the latest WP beta build.
