So just to kind of clarify some things here. 1) In fact there is no automated process for testing that a plugin works with WordPress.
2) There is no codex page for 2.9 plugin compatibility, I've always thought these were goofy and didn't actually know anyone used them, but the codex is a wiki, actually powered by mediawiki, if you want a page for 2.9 plugin compatibility then create it 3) The data collected from the compatibility box on each plugin page will be pulled into WordPress in the Unified Upgrader in WordPress 2.9. So you will be able to see if plugins are not listed as being compatible with the version you are about to upgrade to, since you are running a version not equal to 2.9 then you of course wont see this. 4) In addition once a version of WP hits beta it should show up soon afterwards in that compatibility box on each page so people can start reporting if it works or not. This was decided last week in the weekly dev chat meeting. -- Matt Martz [email protected] http://sivel.net/ _______________________________________________ wp-testers mailing list [email protected] http://lists.automattic.com/mailman/listinfo/wp-testers
