Screen Options on the menu page will not save if there are no items for
those metaboxes.
To duplicate: Create a new taxonomy or custom post type without adding any
items.
On the menu page click the checkbox of those screen
options. (The metaboxes show on the left side.)
Go away from the Menu page and come back.
The metaboxes will be gone and the screen options boxes
will be unchecked.
Is this the intended behavior?
