IMHO too complicated, and it doesn't differ much from separate files for each
update (but read my other replies to see more reasoning and perhaps a solution).
The big advantage is that we can just add new updates under the last one. When
using separate packages we'd also have to watch the right order in which we
include them in the profiles.xml.
But as you wrote in your other mail... If it was able to use multiple
packages.xml files we could just create files like o2k3upd.xml which has all
the installation parameters for the Office 2003 updates. I wouldnt use one xml
file for each update.
now... who volunteers to implemet this? :)
