G'day

I'm trying to implement WPKG in a mixed environment with a SMEserver6.0
(that's a Linux server, redhat 7.3 with samba) and NT4, W2K and WXP
workstations. We just migrated from a NT4 server.

On an NT workstation, I've managed to get WPKG running, sort of, but get
an error 'Automation Server can't create object' with an error number
when it tries to check the registry for an installed program (but it
keeps going).

On a W2K machine it doesn't get that far. It will display help ok, but
anything else causes a 'Automation Server can't create object' error and
exits.

I have already got the latest cscript for both platforms.

>From what I can tell from web searches this _may_ be due to IE security
protections for ActiveX scripting. It also may be related to security
enforced by the previous server. I'm not sure. I'm a *nix guy, not a
windows guy!

Any help greatly appreciated.
