I've also note that upgade in VLC does not work, so also i've done uninstall and then install the newer version. But i've not got trouble about that, apart in a PC where manual uninstallation was needed, but previously VLC was installed by hand. So i've not bother about that... could be that some trouble come from different user that perform installaton? Eg, unistall in WPKG by SYSTEM take some trouble if the original package was installed by Administrator? -- dott.
