Summary: New type of commands - Downgrade Product: WPKG Version: 1.0-rc2 Platform: PC OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P2 Component: wpkg.js AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] QAContact: wpkg-users@lists.wpkg.org Hi, I'm currently messing around with a shitload of packages, writing or updating them and I found myself in a situation one or two times where I could use a <downgrade/> command opposed to the <upgrade/> command. The <downgrade/> command should basically work exactly the same as the <upgrade/> one just the other way around. Read: if the revision of the package on the server is smaller than the revision of the package in the local database the <downgrade/> command should be executed. This would be useful for downgrading software that is known to cause problems if its a certain version of the software while an older version works just fine and no newer version is available at this time.
