Thanks for the idea. The issue this user has is that she regular uses a website that refuses to work with the newest version of Java. So it's not an installed app that I can check for.

You could add a check to your Java package definition that detects whatever software is the issue. That way, it will carry over to any other hosts that has the same software (and thus has the same Java restriction). You could also add a host-name check to the Java package definition, but that seems like a rather ugly way of doing it.
