Hi Falko,
Does your templates/ff-extension.xml really only contain the code below? Then
it's missing the XML root element <packages />.
Valid package XML files look as follows:
<packages>
<package>
...
</package>
</packages>
And yes, this structure has to be kept even if you put only a single package in
an XML file.
If this does not solve the problem, could you attach the XML file (or send me a
private message with all your package XML if they don't contain any
confidential data).
Meanwhile I try to get my test environment ready to verify it.
