Dear Pat i really thank you for taking time to answer other user's questions, but i think you are really wrong. I will insist, the check is to see if the installed version complies with the package's requirements. As I understand the <check /> does not have any inference in the decision of upgrading or downgrading a package. I would like to have some other users to give her thoughts on this.
