Any time any where is really what one makes of it oneself.

(sounds cliced, but is true--)   Have been in Paris both those months, sometimes sleeping outside, sometimes all night movies, abandoned buildings sometimes beatup tiny hotels and once person asked me to sit their room for August.  Irate hot people, police, surly shopkeepers, whining tourist--what does any of it matter?  You are in PARIS!
