the inspiration for Shakespeare's Tempest.
Those poor sailors and indentured vagrants who found
freedom on Bermuda became Sycorax's Caliban...

anyway always dig these virginia poems..
and the Fox in Dogon myth is a really interesting character,
some stuff in the Griaule I think, Les Renard des pale (sic)
or some such, great book.
