it's like over the years i had to
learn stuff little by little each time a new idea arose - so i would pick up
programming language skills for a specific task - then as time went on i was
able to connect the different things i learned together so that i found myself
able to do larger tasks
because it happened organically over a
long period, the digital tools always feel like self-extensions
first it's the idea - then i create the
tool
creating the tool is a manual
thing
so in a way it's still
manual
it's humanware that i use
something like this
nothing very philosophical to
heady
very down to earth
like kids want to play ball on the
street but can't afford a bat, so they use a stick
it's this elemental
the stick is the technology - but it's a
self extension of the person swinging the stick
something like this
