Si invitano tutti gli artisti a partecipare al primo progetto di
MailArt organizzato dall’Associazione di Promozione Sociale Artetica,
sul tema del Libro d’Artista e del Libro Oggetto
Si tratta di opere che utilizzano come mezzo artistico alcune delle
caratteristiche espressive del testo letterario.

Tutte la Mail-Art su questo tema che riceveremo verranno esposte nello
spazio espositivo Artetica a Roma, nel quartiere degli artisti, San
Lorenzo. L’esposizione si terrà fra febbraio e marzo 2006 per almeno
due settimane. L’associazione Artetica si impegnerà a dare il massimo
risalto all’evento. Tutte le opere pervenute rimarranno di proprietà
dell’Associazione di Promozione Sociale Artetica
Dopo l’esposizione BOOK-ART l’associazione selezionerà una o più opere
che prenderanno parte, insieme ai vincitori del Concorso Marque-Page ed
altri artisti di fama, alla mostra organizzata da Artetica per la
Giornata Mondiale del Libro dell’aprile 2006.
Tutta la documentazione sull’esposizione sarà pubblicata sul sito
internet www.artetica.org
Tutte le opere dovranno essere sviluppate come dei libri d’artista o
libri-oggetto, dovranno contenere i dati dell’artista (nome, indirizzo,
e-mail ed eventuale numero di telefono), e dovranno pervenire entro e
non oltre il 31 Gennaio 2006. Ogni tipo di messaggio pubblicitario

We would like to kindly invite you to participate in the first
Artetica’s Mail-Art project, on the theme of Artist’s Book and Object
Books, that means visual art works outcoming from any expressive
characteristics of literary text.
All the mail-art received on this theme will be exposed in the
Artetica’s gallery, located in the artist’s neighborhood San Lorenzo,
in Rome (Italy) in a period between February and March 2006 for at
least two weeks.
The Association will give all the necessary publicity to the event. In
addition to this show, a jury made by the members of the Association
will select from one or more artworks that will take part in April 2006
in the exhibition organized by Artetica for the World’s Book Day of
UNESCO with the winners of the "Marque-Page contest" and other famous
artists.
The artwoks are intended to be donated to the Associazione di
Promozione Sociale Artetica.
All the documentation will be published in the Artetica’s internet
site for free access to the artists.
The submission deadline is 31st January 2006
The works must concern the theme of Book-Art, have to be sent by mail,
and must include valid contact details (name, address, country, email
and eventually phone number). Any kind of commercial advertisement will
be excluded.
