hi alan, list this piece was fun. gabe gudding posted it to lucipo where the great flarf thread lives on in ever new guises. presently there is a spirited defense of the notion that flarf or google-generated poems are isomorphic with the unprocessed search results of google, and thus(?) reflect/embody/reify etc the evils of said corporation? anyway, a curious discussion which might appeal to some here or perhaps implicate some here. the archives are easy access & the various strands of the larger thread begin back in january. but the most sustained portions of the criticism above are from the last day in messages with the subject line"differences between search results and search-based poems"
