This reminds me of the time I mistook my wife for a bowling bowl. Alls well that ends well. I throw several strikes that afternoon and it was all caught on audio-tape. My first piano concerto would not be if not for this episode and Id still be banging away on my triangle in some avant-pop klesmer band in complete obscurity. There is only so long that you can stand there all wrapped up in your own vision and/or artistic integrity chortling If only they knew under your breath before the chortle becomes a derisive snort and more than a bit defensive.
