its from a painting i did
which was completely abstract color field painting
until i went back over it with a sharpie and found little faces
and animals and such
this lion
it almost looks like a ren and stimpy cartoon
with a funny pony tail sticking straight up in the front
and two pink human feet instead of rear paws
he's got crazy googly eyes
and an open mouth of dismay
the rest of poem
is a kind of recapitulation of the way
i use my own mental ruts as a sort of light (read radiation)
to put through new filters
to see what comes out
and i stole something from one of your recent pieces!
most of my recent work all of it most likely could be replaced with Lurch's
classic groan..
that's about all i'm getting at the moment just one long everpresent
