It's the tracing part (left to right) over that template that is the dead quiet part... meditative
silent.
As the "words" appear on Ana's screen I say them in my head.... syllabically... next I visually
parse and begin to hear them. THEN I may say them outloud, particularly if they seem difficult...
or unweildy jumbles of consonants. I DO read them outloud as soon as there is someone about with
interest. Sometimes the quiet internal dialogue I have with Ana will bubble over into laughter
and I'll get a questioning look from someone nearby (say in a coffee shop) and I will engage a
converstion about the particular text I'm involved with that Ana has provoked. Glyphs and
snippets.
Oh of course sometimes I read out loud (quietly) the words that appear..... but I try hard to be
silent... particularly in public places... OR if they are exciting reflections I'll strike up a
conversation with some curious looking stranger.
I did one a few minutes ago... after I'd started this reply, John.... to check out just how they
sound to me...
