Dear Bjorn,

greatly enjoy your werse

now I say to myself -- ok I know I'm full of it -- pretentious. Imagining I'm exploring something more than just self promoting bullshit. Hoping my drivel is getting at something that isn't painfully obvious. That I'm not just adopting some pose of being obscurely deep. Whew -- yes that is finally it. A pretense -- supposing I'm profound when in fact I'm just posing -- talking nonsense and the banally mysterious

So anyway -- I read this guy Bjorn who doesn't know me so no guilt by association there --- and whether you are joking on joking or not deep or shallow or all or none of the above--

Anyway to get to the point:

I do like your musings because I find them amusing and honest and I find them setting out the problem -- the problem being to get a handle on the problem which however banal an observation is still true. It's not easy to say the banal in a fresh way that gives the banal its due. A salute to the common man and our common predicament: Where's the fucking handle.

Or as John just said so much better " This is very nice"!

Sitting here listening to Willie Nelson who received his education in the cities of the nation -- and knows he's said the same about them all

Best wishes,
Jim Piat

internet is bad
there are 500 millions results for 'yes'
and 3,5 billions results for 'no'
there's a cat outside
spring is coming
my tea is finished
i'll get a sweater on
when everything returns to everything
it will be a big mess
uniformity in both ends

people want to be independent just to hide their shame of being independent
what can this mean?
the man: i'd rather expand than take into account
the woman: i'd rather die than stop
worse well back to the mean
instead of 9347#¤¤7748284/35er754654"#%"#3#¤#"5#622#"_53425+35345+6
you say x which hides it
now it goes from epistemology to ontology, independence
goes to too far off of course

it might come as a surprise, if you want to write a hypertext cd of
short episodic writing, beware you can only have 9 expanding levels
before the cd is full. from that we can conclude that our notion of
hypertext is degenerated. also we can conclude life is short. before
you know it's already evening.
