We have added some details about using jconsole in the latest 2.2 WSAS release. See http://wso2.org/project/wsas/java/2.2/docs/jmx.html

We will also publish an article on OxygenTank about using MC4J in the near future.

Thanks

BTW, what are the freely available and popular JMX monitors that are being used in the industry?

Great!

Can we have an article or some docs on how to use a freely available JMX monitor to use this?

Hi Folks,
We've added $subject to WSAS. This will be available in the next nightly builds. Currently, system statistics can be monitored. Also we can start/stop services & stop/restart the WSAS instance using JMX.

The same admin service implementation classes are exposed using JMX.

Your thoughts on what other useful information we can expose using JMX are welcome.

Thanks
Azeez
