Our company is running Unix Solaris version 2.5.1 and wants to securely FTP a file to someone using WS_FTP server. Just a couple of questions, what product or client software would we need that runs on Solaris 2.5.1?  And what commands need to be executed to securely ftp a file from a our Unix Solaris version 2.5.1 operating system to someone using WS_FTP server?  If anyone knows the answer or has some ideas on what we'd need, please let me know.

Thanks

Subject: [WS_FTP Forum] Change Password

I am running several scripts that use the same login name and password.

Each time the password needs to be changed each script has to be changed.

Is there a way to store this information in one place and access it from each script?
