I am evaluating WS_FTP Pro Version 7.0 on a Windows 2000 workstation.
I want to view and/or transfer IBM OS/390 MVS files (e.g. sequential and
PDS/PDSE files).
I am getting the following error messages:
1. I get a WordPad pop-up window with the error message listed below when:
a. select a PDS & click "DirInfo" button or
b. select a sequential file & click "View" button:
WordPad Message:
C:\Documents
Cannot find this file.
Please verify that the correct path and file name are given.
2. When I select a PDS & click on "ChgDir" button, I get error message:
CWD 'Y8816.'/JCL.CNTL
501 Mismatched quotes on directory name "'Y8816.'/JCL.CNTL".
Please advise what is the proper way to configure FTP site for IBM OS/390
MVS files.
I am able to successfully view/transfer hfs files within IBM's OS/390
OpenEdition (UNIX). Thank you.
