Surge FTP has a server that runs on Linux, and there are multiple Secure FTP
clients, including LFTP (free open source) and Cleo Lexicom.

Subject: [WS_FTP Forum] Secure FTP Server for Linux

I am interested in FTP Server software for Linux which supports SSL so I
can do secure file transfer using WS_FTP Pro 7 on Windows XP for web site
maintenance on my Red Hat/Apache Web server. I'm not particularly
interested in support for https: under Apache, just secure FTP. I
currently use SSH, but I like the user interface with WS_FTP Pro much
better.

Please accept my apology is this is a tired subject, I just subscribed to
this list and didn't see any reference to archives.

Regards to all. I intend to hang around here for a while and hope to be
able to contribute.
