You need to tell your router that FTP connections to your public IP has to be directed to the win2k machine w/private IP.  Unless all your PCs have static public IPs.  In anycase you better check your contract as non-commercial grade DSL/Cable usually prohibit any servers.

If you are looking to get more than 1 PC on the Internet and you only have 1 public IP then you need a box like the Linksys DSL/Cable sharing gizmo founld at your local Best Buy/CompUSA/Circuit City for under $100.  You will not need to use Zone Alarm and I believe LinkSys is partnering with Zone Labs to incorporate ZoneAlarm into the Linksys hub.

www.speedguide.net has good info along with www.dslreports.com

I have installed ws_ftp server on a win2k machine with zone alarm, on a dsl router with 2 other machines. I have adsl service with a static IP. How do I setup firewall, hostname and IP so my clients can access my server via the internet. What info will they enter to get to me? Thanks for the help, as you can see, I am a neophyte in this area.
