No this is not the case, this does support server to server transfer. You
see the file (a 79 Meg one) complete 100 % to the site (not local), I can
see the file on the server at the right size and even tried to stop the ftp
again... but by the time you can get it to stop it already wrote over the
original file it sent.
By the way I even would try it with WS_FTP explorer and classic with the
same problems...... just with explorer it transfers it local first then
transfers it to the server. But when it gets to the last few bytes and
says 100% it stops with a sec left and then after about 15 secs of waiting
it restarts over again. I ended up doing a server to server ftp from both
AIX servers to get my file over to it.
I did another test today and open up two WS_FTP classic windows one to one
server and another one to the other server and drag and dropped a file from
one to the other and it did it twice one right after the other. I open up
the logs and this is what it says... I took out the IP numbers for security
reasons.

Hello Rich,
Chances are that it isn't transferring twice. What probably is
happening is the servers that you are transferring to do not support
Site-To-Site transferring. So in this case WS_FTP Pro will actually
download the file locally then upload the file to the other server.
The logs should explain what is actually going on, but from what you
explain this probably is the cause.
