I originally used MS Publisher & WSftp to create and
upload a basic information website, to my free 15mb personal webspace on
FreeServe, for a Drugs Information Charity which I am Project Director
of.
However, when I edited the saved "websitepages.pub" Web
Publisher pages, and added some new pages, after I used WSftp to first download
& delete the original webpages, then used the MS Publisher "Save to the Web"
File option, to upload the newly edited webpages, which had been saved to my
hard disc, for some unknown reason the newly uploaded pages are being placed in
a sub-directory, causing a strange "index.htm" page to appear. I cannot get this
effect to go away, or despite repeated attempts to re-upload the edited pages,
it still happens. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong? My website can
be visited, so you will see the effect yourself, at :- www.grieved.fsnet.co.uk
Any suggestions or advice, would be really
appreciated.
Regards, Dave Grieve, from Dumfries, Scotland.
