I've had much difficulty with user permissions.  I'm using WS FTP Server 3.14 (licensed user, just registered in April), and using WS FTP Server user database.  Recently I had to move IPs of the servers, requiring me to delete the hosts, and re-add them, without removing the user folders.  After re-adding the users, some of them cannot upload, they get permission denied error, no matter what I do.  I have deleted the users, and their folders, and re-created the user.  When they login, their user folder is created by the server, and they are logged into it, but they still cannot upload.  I even made the user a host administrator and system administrator.

Please help.  Would it be wiser to switch to using NT permissions?  I was hoping I didn't have to do this.  I would like to keep all the FTP administration in one place.

Thanks,
