Hi I've just bought version 8 of the ftp client software and my
initial use has been fraught with problems. I have been attempting to copy a
directory structure on the remote Linux server to a new directory on that
server (for backup purposes) and there are numerous problems. Firstly only the directory
structure is copied and NONE of the files. Also during the copy process FTP pro has to try and log back
into the remote host after ‘thinking’ it has lost connection. I have tried this operation on the browser and classic
version of your tool, both by dragging and dropping the directory and by doing
a “select all” and right clicking the mouse to 'copy' and then 'paste' the
directory, nothing works ?? any help would be great, I bought the tool to do
simple admin on the remote system as well as upload/download files to my
computer at the moment it was a waste of money. Regards Nick |
