Thanks but I couldn't find the 'lock user to home directory' under user options. Perhaps it is not in Version 2.04 which I am using.

Use 'logon users to home folders' and 'use folders under root' when you build the user, to create the specific folder. Then use 'lock user to home directory' under user options to prevent the user from changing directories.

Subject: [WS_FTP Forum] restricting access of a user

How do I restrict a user's access to (upload to) only a specific
subdirectory? I am using WS_FTP Server 2.04 on a Windows 2000
workstation.
