There is a bug in 4.01.

You need to have two entries for each directory.  They are supposed to be working on a patch.

You need each directory twice, once with the plain directory name and once with a trailing slash.  For example,

X:\FTP-DOWNLOAD
X:\FTP-DOWNLOAD\

Good Luck!

Subject: [WS_FTP Forum] User-Level Directory Permissions

I can't get user-level directory permissions to work. Users can't write files to directories for which they have permission. I am running WS_FTP server 4.01 on Windows 2000 (SP4), with the WS_FTP user database. I really don't want to use the Windows 2000 user account database, if possible.

Suggestions, ideas greatly appreciated.
