One posibility of this happening is an option that exist in FTP called "Store unique", where the server pick a unique name. To confirm this please send the log, or turn off this option. In the log the command to do a store unique is STOU, instead of STOR, for regular store.

While uploading to www.hollyecho.com (domain purchased from godaddy.com) - the file name changes.
i.e.: bryse91o.bmp - when uploaded changes to ftpy882d0
Now when I upload to ANY other host (i.e.-gbgm.org) they upload correctly - when I use ftp_le it uploads correctly.
Help.
