Hello,
We have already
installed new product and make the settings so as to read user information from
the external database.
Some of the config
informations are located on the registry. So to recover seems to be impossible
unless there exists system state backup(registry).
I cant reinstall
previous ftp server from the beginning just getting the external db user info.
(Suppose no previous files are needed) For
example group info is located on the registry.
Am I wrong, or is
there any other way? what are the advantages of using external db for
users?
