Title: Trusted vs Non Trusted SSL Client Behavior

Hello,

Could someone explain to me how the ftp client behaves when a self signed SSL server certificate is renewed?  I'm assuming that an SSL certificate that is self signed would force the "dialog box" manual reload situation when the server certificate is renewed.  In the "Trusted" model, when the certificate is signed by a CA, and renewed through the CA, does the client have to manually reload the renewed SSL certificate, or is the renewed cert handled transparently through negotiation with the CA? (i.e- as is done with browsers and https)
