For example, say my computer name was Xxx-Xxx. The default host name would then be Xxx-Xxx. On my computer I can ftp into ftp://Xxx-Xxx/myfolder but if I give someone that address with userid and password and they create an account in their ftp client, they can't connect to my computer. Can someone tell me what the address would be? I tried changing my host name to my IP address, but then even I can't get in. Help please. And no giggling!
