In some browsers, you can login to a virtual host using:
ftp://[EMAIL PROTECTED]
Where %40 replaces the first @ symbol.

Subject: [WS_FTP Forum] Automatic creation of virtual Folders
Hi
With WS FTP Server 3.x we add virtual folders trough a
script, that make changes to the registry.
In Version 4.x the user rights are in .acc files
stored and i need to get a new solution to create
virtual folders without using the ftp manager gui.
- Is there a tool to create virtual folders and
assign user rights?
- what is the format of the .acc files?
Another solution would be to use virtual hosts, but
then the users need to login with the @ in the username.
With this username it's not possible to login with
the browser (ftp://[EMAIL PROTECTED]:[EMAIL PROTECTED]
- Is there a chance to use another symbol instead of
@? (In Imail Server from IpSwitch other symbols like
#,$,% also works.)
Best Regards,
