Hi David,

If you are running 7.61, are the files you mentioned older versions of 7.61
that were downloaded in the past? For example, wsftp605.exe looks like it's
related to WS_FTP Pro 6.05. The descriptions you gave for the 4 files
(wsftppec.exe, wsftp605.exe, ftppatch.exe, and f_x86t32.exe) sounds
accurate.

If you upgrade to WS_FTP Pro 8.03 English, you can do this via the Service
Agreement and you will be delivered the correct WS_FTP Pro installation
file.

bye for now,

kg

Subject: [WS_FTP Forum] Too many setup files.

I'm now running WS_FTP 7.61, and I'm trying to clean old useless setup files
off of my disk. I've got setup files called wsftppec.exe, wsftp605.exe,
ftppatch.exe, and f_x86t32.exe . It looks to me like wsftp605.exe is a full
setup file, wsftppec.exe and ftppatch.exe are patches or updates which I
will need if I ever have to reinstall, and f_x86t32.exe is something old and
useless which I can delete. Is that correct?

Thanks.
David.
