I am using FTP Pro 8 to connect to IBM. Every file that I receive, the file name is being changed to the time that it was sent. Another file is also being created called "TIME". I have spoke with IBM and they say that this file can be ignored. Both files do not have a file extension. I am trying to write a script to retrieve the files being sent into the mailbox but I can not get it to work since these files do not have extension. I am using the mget * command to retrieve the file. It gabs the TIME file and when it tries to grab the time stamp file (the actual file that I need) it states that the file is not in the mailbox. I am assuming that the file is being deleted when the TIME file is being transferred.
Does any one know of a way to get a file without knowing the file extension? Like exclude TIME since that file will always be called TIME and then it will grab the time stamp file.
