I am on vacation March 5th. I will have very limited access to voicemail or email..
In the interim, if you require immediate management assistance, please defer any issues that can't wait to Gary Goldstone at x4224 or [EMAIL PROTECTED] For issues that do not require management intervention, please do not hesitate to contact Mike Little or DJ Mendonca (two *VERY* capable Network Engineers). >>> WSFTP_Forum 03/05/04 10:21 >>> Good Afternoon, Has anyone sucessfully figured out how to use "offical" SSL certificates such as those that would be issued by a CA like Verisign so that when an end-user connects to the SFTP server they are not prompted with the "accept this certificate" dialog box. Ever. I know you can receive it the first time and never see it again if you click the "accept and trust" thing, but I want to NEVER see the dialog. Primary reason is that our security policy requires use of third-party SSL certificates, not internally generated private ones, and so when the certificate expires each year all SFTP users have to click accept again. It would seem that if WSFTP properly used third-party CA issued certificates there should not be a prompt -- just like your web browser. Any comments?
