I use 8 have no problems retaining my IDs and passwords. When you start ws-ftp, the "connect to remote server" box should pop up. If it doesn't, click on the connect icon in the upper left and it should come up. Then click on create site and add all the server and logon info with the option checked to save password. It's very simple.

I'm the only user on my computer, and the only owner of my website. Is there a way I can ask WS_FTP Pro to remember my ID and password so I don't have to enter it every time I upload??? Version 7 did that. I'm now on version 8.
