Just as a thought. I know when I set up WS_FTP Server here, I got complaints from the users that the time of their files was 4 hours off. It turned out that I hadn't changed the setting that says to use local time instead of GMT. I wonder if that could have any impact on what you are doing?

Thanks Veronique... I checked the settings on our Serv-U and the option to
"Block future date/times" is *not* checked.  Another option "Allow MDTM to
Change Times" is checked.

Can I check anything else?

Hi Rob,

Please see this URL take from Ipswitch's Knowledge Base:

It describes the behavior you are seeing.

Subject: [WS_FTP Forum] WS_FTP Pro Synchronization Utility

All,

I am trying to use the WS_FTP Pro Synchronization Utility to do some very,
very simple check-in/out activities.  I'm running into a problem however, in
that times of some of my files are not being correctly updated, only the
dates.  (The time defaults to 12:00 AM on the server.  A DirInfo shows these
files as having *no* time, only dates.)

The result is that some files think they need to be perpetually updated, and
other strange anomolies.  The FTP server I'm using is Serv-U running on
Windows 2000.  Can anyone offer suggestions as to what I might try to get
the full date *and* time to update correctly when I synchronize.

Thanks!
