Hi,

Is there anywhere to go to view archived list messages? That might answer
my questions.

I've used WS_FTP Pro since 1999 with absolutely no problems at all. In the
last several days I've experienced some strange occurrences, and wonder if
it has more to do with spyware than with FTP.

A few days ago, my entire domain was down, and the error message was not the
typical, 403 error message "The page cannot be found." Instead it said that
my access to the page was forbidden. I got the same thing when I tried to
transfer files via WS_FTP Pro.

The domain was down for almost 24 hours and then, after "emergency
servicing" by Yahoo (whatever that means), it was back. After going into my
web console and resetting my FTP password, I was able to transfer files
again.

Tonight, my domain is up, but my FTP login won't work. I've gone into my
web console, reset the password, changed and saved the password, changed and
saved again. I've erased and reentered many times in WS_FTP Pro, and am
getting a 330 or 331 error message from WS_FTP Pro, alternately telling me
that my user ID or my password is incorrect.

Is this a spyware related problem?

Any advice would be so appreciated. Right now, I'm getting sympathy but no
answers from Yahoo.

Thanks,

Pat Sabin
