This is a function of the server not the client. Setup your server to assign
a folder to a user, also apply appropriate windows permissions and make sure
that your ftp server does not allow the user to traverse folders.

Subject: [WS_FTP Forum] Restricted use of FTP site.

I have downloaded an evaluation copy of WS FTP pro. I am very interested in
finding out if I am able to password protect a certain folder on my ftp site
to allow a user to download a file only from that folder. I have gone
through the part of obtain certificates and keys but I am still unclear
about this. I have currently been using Cute FTP. I transfer files to my
FTP and my daughter can use her CuteFTP to log onto the site and get the
files, but she is using my site account name and password to gain access to
the site. I would like to allow a different person access to my FTP site,
but I do not want to give them my account name and password, so when I saw
an advertisement for WS FTP, it was my understanding that this would be
possible with WS FTP.
