So is it possible to set up the default virtual website on WSFTP-5 to not require the @sitename as part of the login?

If not, what is the correct URL for IE to login anonymously with FTP and specify the username (with @ sign) and host name that includes @ sign.

Hello - I'm using WSFTP 5 and seem to be having a newbie problem.

I have have setup as a virtual server with 3 sites created: mydomain.com, siteupdate, softdist.

I have mydomain.com setup for anonymous and siteupdate and softdist sites setup with usernames.

I noticed that anonymous users can only log in anonymously using a username of [EMAIL PROTECTED] instead of simply anonymous.  Is there a way for me to configure the default site not to require the @ domain designator?

If not, a lot of my clients on my Intranet use IE for FTP (I know, I know!!!) and I would like to have a link from my Intranet webpage.... I typically would do

http://myname:[EMAIL PROTECTED] and IE would login and display FTP folder.

If I'm required to use @domain.com for WSFTP Server, IE appears not to like the double @ signs..  as http://[EMAIL PROTECTED]@mydomain.com.

Any help or direction would be most appreciated.

P.S. - anyone have a good way of capturing "password" for users that deside to provide their e-mail address for anonymous FTP?
